HUMMUS – I’m keeping it super simple for lunch. A quick hummus with warm pitta bread, carrots and celery. Its only got 5 ingredients and takes less than 15 mins to make!
1️⃣ 400g can chickpeas, drained and rinsed
2️⃣ 80ml extra virgin olive oil
3️⃣ 2 fat garlic cloves, peeled and crushed
4️⃣ 1 lemon, juiced then ½ zested
5️⃣ 3 tbsp tahini
Put all your ingredients into a blender or food processor and blend into a consistency you prefer. I like a slightly chunkier hummus. If you like a smoother version add a little water. Season with salt and pepper and serve! If you wanna posh it up drizzle a little more olive oil and paprika over the top.
