PAPRIKA PORK – it’s a cross between a goulash and stroganoff! Sweet paprika and onions with meaty lean pork. All cooked in one pan and only used 5 ingredients. A yummy winter stew which will be a hit for the whole family!
1️⃣ 3 onions sliced thinly
2️⃣ 750g of pork fillet cut into chunks
3️⃣ 2 heaped tbsp of paprika
4️⃣ 1/2 a pint of chicken stock
5️⃣ 2-3 tbsp of creme fraiche
Heat some oil in a heavy bottom pan on a medium heat add onions and fry until they have softened and begun to colour.
On a high heat add the pork and brown. Then add the stock and paprika stir well and bring to a boil.
Cover and simmer allowing the pork to cook and the sauce to reduce. Ensuring you stir every now and then. This may take around 30 mins.
Then stir in the creme fraiche and simmer for a few for 2-3 mins and serve! Great with rice or potatoes and lots of green veg.
